It's a suppler club like the rest of them are. I ordered the 24 oz prime rib which i thinkwas bigger than 24 oz. I think it was a bit undercooked. It didn't come with any flavorings like au jus or any spices. It was ok. Salad bar and pie were good.

When it comes to Wisconsin supper clubs, Maple Leaf is right where the bar should be set. Great food, good conversation, and experience bar none. Highly recommended.

We traveled to Maple Tree on a recent Friday evening. We were quite surprised when we arrived a few minutes before 4pm and there was a line of about 15 people waiting to enter. My thoughts... Wow this place must have good food!! And it did!! We asked to be paged about an hour after we arrived so we could enjoy a cocktail or two. The bar was busy mostly serving brandy old fashioneds. Yummy, they were! After being seated at our table and providing our orders, we made our way to the salad bar. It was small, but had everything to make a nice salad... Everything was cold and fresh! Two soups were also available; fish chowder and cheeseburger. I did not have the soup but my friends did, and said they were good. Next up, our entrees. I chose the Friday fish fry. The cod was either lightly battered, beer battered or baked. I opted for the lightly battered. The two nice sized cod filets were served as ordered, lightly battered and very tasty. It was served with a choice of potato. One of my friends had the broasted chicken and the other a rib eye. Both came as ordered and looked delicious. The wait staff was quite busy but attentive. Everything was great... We will be back!!!

This place was a great find. We were just passing thru town and found it. Delicious supper club fare starting off with a loaf of fresh baked bread still warm from the oven. The salad bar was basic but fresh with a choice of 2 savory soups. The prime rib was the size of a pot roast. We made three meals out of the leftovers. They do not take reservations on the weekend. Highly recommend you get there early. It's worth it.

The food was very good and the prices were reasonable. Soup and salad bar was included in our dinner. Would definitely return next time visiting the area. We did get there when they opened at 4pm to be sure we could get in for dinner.

I was in the Madison area for a few days, and had seen an Instagram post about the Maple Tree Supper Club (shout-out to @midwestmunchers), so I stopped in for dinner. Boy, am I glad I did! 🤤 Each entrée comes along with the soup/salad bar, and honestly, I could've gotten completely full off just that! The salad bar items were all very fresh... no browned lettuce or dried out vegetables that I could find. I ordered the fried shrimp as my entrée, along with a baked potato with sour cream and butter. I helped myself to some grated cheddar and bacon bits from the salad bar to make it a loaded baked potato. It was delicious! I'm often surprised at just how many restaurants fail at cooking baked potatoes properly. There's a key... get it to the correct temperature (~210°F.) so that the starch molecules burst in the potato, making it soft and fluffy inside... well, they did it the right way! Each meal comes with a warm, freshly baked mini loaf of bread. That's always welcome, especially when paired with some butter which melts down into it. 🤤 They open at 4pm, and when I got there around 4:45, the parking lot was nearly full! When I walked inside, the bar was packed full of patrons, and I asked the hostess at the counter if I needed a reservation. Luckily, I didn't! Some of the tables seemed to be dimly lit. Maybe they were going for more ambiance, but I found it a bit difficult to read the menu in the lighting. My server was great! Very personable, and explained everything about the soup and salad bar. She checked on me a few times during my meal to insure that I had everything I needed, and if everything was to my liking. 👍🏽 I don't get to the Madison area very often, but the next time I do, you can bet that I'll be visiting the Maple Tree Supper Club again!

Just like always- but better! Plan on a wait for a table on Fridays- We enjoyed some fantastic cocktails on the outdoor patio for about an hour and a half- just perfect. When we got to the table, the service was top- notch. The food was well prepared and the portions were great! Welcome back! Kudos to the new owners!!

It is slightly different than other supper clubs we have been to. No dark walls, no relish tray. And had to wait 45 minutes ( before 5:30 on a Thursday, after being told it would be 30 minutes ). BUT, having said that, we had an outstanding meal of Petite Prime Rib, with all the fixings. And our server, Alley, was very good. She made us feel appreciated personally. Do try Maple Tree, but go early and be prepared to wait. But it will be worth it. Oh, and I had a chocolate-covered strawberry martini. It was fabulous.

Maple Tree Supper Club was my partners choice for her birthday dinner as she had never been there and I had been there only once many years ago for a banquet. The parking seemed pretty full when we pulled in however when we walked in the door the hostess took us right to a table for 2 and I could see that they were about 3/4s full. So don't let the parking being full fool ya when you get here. Our server was at our table very quickly with menus and silverware and took our drink orders which were a pepsi for me and brandy old fashioned sweet for her I also ordered some onion rings as an appetizer and we checked out the menu while she got our drinks. When she brought our drinks she also brought water which someplace don't do anymore unless you ask which is a nice touch of service she also brought a small warm loaf of bread another nice touch. We put in our orders which were the Swiss steak with mashed potatoes for her and the 8oz top sirloin with a baked potato these both came with a trip to the salad and soup bar. The salad bar was very good with a good and fresh selection to put on your plate and an assortment of dressings. The soup choices were vegetable beef and bacon cheddar potato and both were excellent and I believe made from scratch. We had just finished our soup and salad when our entrees came from the kitchen. My steak was perfectly medium rare with a nice char and tender and juicy and the au jus that was served with it was excellent. My partner said the Swiss steak was also great. Her mashed potatoes and my baked potato excellent as well oh and the small warm loaf of bread brought early was very good. We ended up taking half of each of our orders home with us along with about half the onion rings appitizer which by the way were also very both when they were served and when I reheated them in the air fryer. Our took great care come around several times to check on how the food was tasting and to check on drink refills as well as bringing a small carafe of
